I Need To Stop Making Plans

Every time I make a plan it always ALWAYS falls though. Even when I plan it so far in advance things couldn’t possibly be planned already on that day.

But alas, the universe hates my plans.

So tonight, like every year, I invited a bunch of friends over to watcht The American Theatre Wing Tony Awards with me.

And tonight, like every year, they all canceled within an hour before they started and I was stuck with tons of extra food.

Why does this always happen? They’re my friends, they are not avoiding me, of that I am certain. Things just come up last minute to spite me.

Is there anyone else this happens to?

and didn’t Kristin Chenoweth look stunning presenting that award? and Anne Hathway wore a white ribbon, yay! and Neil Patrick Harris is doing a fantastic job!

12 days until the Tony Awards!!

I am very very excited to say that there are 12 days until the Tony awards. I have had a countdown in my locker since 170 days away and they are finally just around the corner!!

The most exciting part if this is that the Original Broadway Cast of Rent will be performing at the awards next Sunday, June 15th. Also, Krisin Chenoweth and Liza Minnelli are both presenters!

Alec Baldwin, Kristin Chenoweth, Glenn Close, Richard Griffiths, Laura Linney, John Lithgow, Liza Minnelli, Mary-Louise Parker, Daniel Radcliffe, Brooke Shields and Marisa Tomei will also be presenting.

 

I am SOO EXCITED!

Also, they’re airing Legally Blonde: The Musical on MTV this Saturday. The whole entire thing. 1:00 pm. Watch it. Even though this whole character and story and stuff is completely not me, Laura Bell Bundy is pretty cool, and she was good in Hairspray.

The wonderful, spectacular, amazing, splendiferous, stupendous, gorgeous, talented Kristin Chenoweth in Pushing Daises this week, singing “Hopelessly Devoted to You”. Even though the whole show is a love story between the guy she’s in love with and another girl, I’m still rooting for her.
