The election is over. Barack Obama is the president-elect of the United States. All is well. EXCEPT for the LGBT community. Arkansas made it illegal for gay couples to adopt, Arizona and Florida both stopped movements for gay marriage in their states, and with the passing of Proposition 8, the right to marry has been taken away from LGBT Californians. So it’s a bittersweet outcome.
