There Goes The Bride

Tonight the play that I’m helping with right now opens, and I think you should all come see it.

It’s called There Goes The Bride and here is the description:

When harassed advertising executive Timothy Westerby hits his head on the morning of his daughter’s society wedding, he awakens the company of Polly Perkins, a 1920’s Flapper girl straight out of his current advertising campaign. It’s soon clear that no one else can see or hear Polly. And when another bump on the head transports Timothy back to 1926 and the Savoy Hotel, the wedding plans disintegrate into chaos. Timothy’s friends and family desperately try to lead him back to reality before the ewly arrived in-laws abandon the wedding. Produced by special arrangement with Core Literary Inc.

I’m helping with costumes backstage, so I get to do up a wedding dress and help people with their shoes. It’s not the most exciting show to be doing costumes on, but it’s fun.

So if you’re in the Oakville area I expect to see you all there! Here is the website for the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts.
