Today I decided it was time to learn how to operate iMovie, as I have had my lovely Macbook, Amelie, since September of last year. I put together a shabbily edited video consisting of the Willow and Tara clips that I just happened to already have on my computer. I did this in the car on the way to my Mum’s house from my Dad’s.
I personally hate searching for clips from your favourite television shows and just finding a bunch of music videos, despite the few good ones that occaisonally come along, but that didn’t stop me from adding my own to the mix. It’s a really great song, so it’s not that bad?
Overall I like iMovie. It wasn’t that difficult to use, but it did freeze a few times. It could just be because I imported quite a few episodes (more than the ones that ended up in the video) so there was a lot of media for it to sort through. It unfroze quite quickly too…and it will always be better than Windows Media Player. I really hate that program.
Nice clip, I’ve gotta say. . . I had to make one, I’d be put through hell because I’d rip all my episodes from dvd and use movie maker (Its all I got now). . lol
Anyway. I admit Macs are built for media and stuff so kudos to them with iLife (and iMovie).
By the way, nice song choice. I love Explosions In The Sky too.
